The goals and purpose of our Club is for families to be able to together attain growth, improve horsemanship skills, and to provide recognition and reward to the members of the HCRC.  By providing rewards, we hope to keep the core of this Club and the families motivated and proud of the organization, their personal and family accomplishments, and enjoy their time with their family, friends, and horses.

We promote sportsmanship-like behavior and the ability to learn horsemanship and riding skills for all involved in a safe and positive environment.  With teamwork as a group at each event and by the help of all the Club members, we hope to make each HCRC event a benefit to everyone.

The dates of the 2008 Playdays are as follows:

May 19th   June 2nd   June 9th   June 16th   June 23rd   

June 30th  July 7th   July 14th   July 28th   August 4th

All Playdays will start at 7:00pm.  Books for all events will be open from 6:00pm to 6:50pm.  All entry fees must be paid before the books close, so please pay your entry fees as early as possible.  No late entries will be excepted unless prior "ok" by the officers.

Participants will be grouped according to their age as of January 01, 2008.  The age groups are as follows:  5 & Under, 6 - 10, 11 - 15, 16 - 20, and 21 & Over.

Year end awards are not available for the 21 and over age group.  They will be competing for cash prizes only - awarded after the event each playday.

To qualify for year end awards you must be a paid member under the age of 21 and attend at least 1/2 (5) of the Playdays.  Members will recieve points for placing.  Prizes will be awarded on high point accumulation at the end of the season for each age group.

A complete set of rules will be given to you when you pay your yearly membership.
